Targets growth with new Shopify integration

Connection between world leading eCommerce platform and innovative shipping software to optimise fulfilment process for retailers

Shipping technology firm Shipster is targeting growth with the launch of a new integration with Shopify, the leading eCommerce platform.

The move seamlessly connects UK and European Shopify stores to over 100 leading couriers via Manchester-based Shipster’s custom shipping platform.

The integration simplifies and streamlines shipping logistics by automating the order to dispatch process by creating shipments and courier bookings, generating tracking information and all shipping and customs documentation.

Shopify merchants will also have access to a new pick-and-pack function via the Shipster platform which replicates the basic functionality of a warehouse management system (WMS) to allow scan to dispatch.

The new solution helps growing companies enhance operational efficiency, reduce shipping errors and deliver improved customer experience.

Commenting on the launch, Tony Cheetham, CEO and Founder of Shipster said: “We’re thrilled to launch the Shipster Shopify integration and bring a new level of shipping efficiency to Shopify’s 4.5 million brands and retailers.

“Retailers need a solution that is efficient, cost-effective and gets products from their stockroom or warehouse to customers seamlessly.

“By leveraging the solution, Shopify stores, with or without a WMS or larger eCommerce tech stack, can now benefit from our affordable, customisable and flexible platform.”

Shipster has been disrupting the shipping software market since 2015 with a fast-growing number of online retailers, ecommerce warehouses and distributors.

Its flexible licensing model means that the business can add or remove licenses or couriers during busier or quieter periods. Another standout feature is Shipster’s custom shipping rules capability which enables retailers to tailor their process based on criteria including weight, destination and parcel type, offering an unrivalled level of customisation.

Damian Donnelly, COO of Shipster, said: “Our Shopify integration is another example of Shipster’s commitment to provide highly customisable and flexible software at an accessible price, and exceptional customer service.

“We have built an intuitive and incredibly powerful tool that simplifies the shipping process for businesses. From custom shipping rules to automatic document generation, this integration allows Shopify stores to manage their fulfilment with greater precision and less effort. It’s about giving businesses the necessary control while taking away the complexity.”
